I am an entrepreneur and former programmer who has spent the last two decades building and buying small software companies, traveling fulltime with my family, leaving old belief systems, and trying to live with more honesty and presence.
My work has moved through a few chapters: Music Teacher's Helper, Studio Helper, Family Adventure Summit, Everbreed, HelpSite, UniHop, and the eleven years of nomadic family travel that became Pearce On Earth.
I'm still interested in useful software and good businesses.
I'm also interested in consciousness, creativity, AI, health, good relationships, and the quiet ways a life can be lived and enjoyed more fully each moment.
This site brings it all together. Some essays are practical. Some are personal. Some are about SaaS acquisitions and operating teams. Some are about dreams, spiritual practice, or ways I'm letting go.
I live with my wife, Jen, and our family, currently in the southeast USA.
Tracking Obsession
One quirk I am known to be extreme about is how much I track. I've tracked every minute of every day for years.
My weekly planning process includes more than 100 tasks and 10 different tabs of KPIs around time, goals, values, and other signals that help me stay oriented toward where I want to go.
It may sound intense or cumbersome, but day to day, it's usually just a few minutes. Whenever a task ends, I pause to write a little about what I did. At the beginning and end of the day, I go through a process that helps me synthesize my experience and return to presence. AI is starting to help me with this too.
The weekly review can take a few hours, but it sets me up for success in the many things I have going on in business and life. More than anything, the tracking helps me stay in the presence of mind to enjoy the process along the way.

I acquired UniHop in Dec 2025. It's a last-mile delivery and dispatch platform serving restaurants and local businesses, combining software with human monitoring. I'm focused on systematizing operations, improving automation, and scaling the business responsibly while maintaining service quality and strong partner relationships.
HelpSiteCEO
I bought helpsite.com in Jan 2025. It's knowledge base software written in 2016, that hadn't been updated in years. I've built a team to help modernize and improve the product and incorporate AI, as we prepare to grow the business to new heights.
CryptoTrader, Speculator, Investor
Explored yield farming, concentrated liquidity, altcoin trading strategies, and perpetual futures. Learned the ecosystem deeply, simplified my portfolio, and continue to follow the space while investing long-term.
EverbreedCEO
I bought this business in Jan 2020 and grew revenue by 10x in 2 years, with a team of 9. I sold it in 2023. This SaaS web and mobile app helps rabbit breeders track their rabbits.
Music Teacher’s Helper and Studio HelperFounder and CEO
Created SaaS web and mobile applications to help music teachers and studio owners manage their student schedules and billing. Bootstrapped. Grew it to nearly $1M ARR and a team of 25. Hired a CEO to run it the last few years. Sold it in 2021.
Family Adventure Summit & MoreFounder and CEO
Created live events for traveling families, including an annual conference for 400 people held in Canada, Mexico, and Bali with speakers, performances, and an engaging children's program with dozens of volunteers and paid staff. Profits were donated to local charities. Also ran educational events for adults where our team gave training on long-term travel logistics, finances, and education. And also led 2-week family retreats in Bali and Romania.
