Very true! Marie fell in the duck pond today and got dirty and wet, but she had her swimming suit on at the time and thought it was pretty funny after the fact. :) She didn't even shed a tear, although she was quite surprised to find herself suddenly in the water. :)

@Irene - The pond is only a foot or two deep. If the girls fall in, they'll only get dirty and wet.

The ducks make great pets. They stay outside, you don't have to clean up after them, they're quiet (usually), and you don't even have to feed them because they find their own food! Although we do have some duck food that they like to eat right out of the girls' hands. :)

I"m sooooooooooooo glad you have the internet ...I have missed your updates.
What a great vacation you just had. I wouldn't want to go into a boat and feed crocks... A bit to graphic for me I'm afraid. L..loved seeing ... on I guess I just loved seeing everything. IT's your worrying grandmother... about the small pond in your yard.. Is it very deep? IS it safe for the girls??
I hope you soon get the shower and water situations in control. I 'm also cheering for you to get an oven..Jen is such a great little chef it will be a shame if she can't bake some of her delicious goodies.

Such a fun vacation to the beach! I can't wait to go back! It is sure nice to be moved into our house and see such beautiful views and hear and see such beautiful birds. It is also nice to have the Internet so I feel somewhat connected to the world. Yeah!! If you are wondering why Marie's face is all brown in that one photo, it is because she painted her face so she would look like princess Tiana. :)
