The Pearce Family is currently traveling the globe, unschooling, and trying to live life to its fullest every day. They're currently living in Costa Rica.
I was looking over your blog. I hopped over from your comment on facebook regarding unschooling. I was admiring the beauty of your locale, but then I saw the spider in the bag! AHHHH! That thing is huge! I hope spiders that size are the norm. Are they?
@Dana – Yes, they’re usually about that big. Actually, from what I’ve heard, it’s small for around here. But we haven’t really seen one bigger than that yet. The picture probably make it look bigger than it really is, though. That’s just a little travel size kleenex package next to it.
Delicious crepes and waffles yesterday and today (twice)! Mmm!! http://bit.ly/bnIKdJ. Had massage by the pool today & Jen had a facial. Ahh! 17 hrs ago
We got yellow fever vaccinations today for free and no appt required. I love non-US health care! Tomorrow we leave Colombia for Peru! 18 hrs ago
Trying to figure out if we need the yellow fever vaccine to get into Ecuador from Peru. It's not required to get back in the states, is it? 2 days ago
Tried to take some salsa lessons today, but they wouldn't teach the kids. :P So we enjoyed a relaxing day, the sunset, and ice cream. :D 2 days ago
Yesterday and today we enjoyed the historic part of Cartagena including the old fort/castle. Tomorrow is Emily's birthday! Maybe the beach? 4 days ago
