@John - Those are some neat resources. I've been using vumber.com (virtual number), to give to people who I don't want to know our "real" number. I just have it go to voicemail currently - and e-mail me the message, but I could also set it up to forward to one of our other phones.

Brandon - on the telephone issue.

You might look at http://www.trixbox.com/products/trixbox-ce - with it you can run your business phone (and home phone) through all sorts of VOIP and PSTN lines and let it manage your calls. You can get a free phone number in Seattle/Bellevue for your Mom and Uncle Jeston to call at http://www.ipkall.com/ and cheap inbound lines and/or outbound calling (including international - check with me for more information) and the software is free, you just need a spare computer and broadband.

An expanded version is at http://www.linuxmce.org, if you also want to keep your media collection available for playback, home automation, etc.

Great Uncle John

It is so nice to have home feel exciting again!! It feels wonderful to be back. I now have a renewed appreciation for everything we have here in Utah. I am so grateful for all the things we learned and experienced in Panama, and I really want to incorporate them into our lives to the fullest extent possible. Who knew we would gain so much from our time there! I especially really loved being together all the time without all the normal stress and distractions of life that sometimes pull us apart and move us away from each other in different directions.
